The "one-sheet" movie poster is the cornerstone of promoting a film and getting prospective moviegoers into the theatre to see it. A successful movie poster design tells the story at glance. Or more accurately, tells them what you want them to think the movie is about. It must be striking and create curiosity. But most importantly, it must stand out from other movie posters, especially in the multiplex, where the moviegoer is barraged with posters of 20 films or more.
Creative Director/Designer Tucker Johnston has over a decade worth of experience in the Hollywood film industry, first as an art director and prop master, then as a writer and director (see Bio page for more information).
Johnston has the experience and insight to help the independent filmmaker market their film and develop promotional materials for film markets, such as MIFED and Cannes, as well as pre-selling projects to film distributors with movie posters and sell sheets that demonstrate the commercial potential of the film project.
In the latter case, for film projects "in development," we can do custom photography of actors and imagery to create the look of a completed film for presentations to to the potential distributors or investors.
